Sam Mikel

Hi,

I’m Sam Mikel. I was raised LDS in Vernal, Utah, third generation Mormon, (grandparents on both sides were converted in England), and went to Utah State. Upon finding a book about Mormonism in, heaven forbid, another church, I read it because I was so angry about them having books in their library that picked on the LDS Church. Well that was 15 years ago and it started a long, sometimes painful journey out of the church.

I have sold real estate for 27 years, currently attend a Christian church and started a support group 10 years ago called Mormon Outreach. We have meetings once a month on some subject having to do with Mormonism and those meetings are advertised in the local paper.

I have a wonderful husband, Scott, (never MO) and daughter, Toni, who is thankful she isn’t a Mormon.
