Links to sites related to life after Mormonism. These links are provided in alphabetical order, organized by category. Where useful, we use the words the web sites use to describe themselves as the link description. Links to other web sites are provided as a public service, and do not imply endorsement by the Foundation, its members, or officers.
Forums and Bulletin Boards
Many Exmormons feel a social void after leaving the church. Making new friends online who have a common background can help.
- Exmormon.org: Also known as RFM or Recovery From Mormonism, this site is for those who are questioning their faith in the Mormon Church and for those who need support as they transition their lives to a normal life. Provides the highest-traffic forum on the Web related to recovery from Mormonism, as well as a large library of "Why I Left" stories.
- PostMormon.org: Post-Mormons are members of a rapidly growing community of families and individuals who have voluntarily left Mormonism. They choose to no longer base their lives, and the lives of their children, on so-called truths dictated by others. They believe that truth is freely available to any honest, diligent seeker regardless of creed, age, race or sexual orientation.
- Exmo-Social.com: Where former Mormons and their friends hang out. If you've already recovered from Mormonism, but would like to talk to people who come from a similar background, this forum is open.
- The View From the Foyer: This forum is for those who are at various stages in the process of exploring beyond the official dogma of Mormonism. Many here still attend church, but don't really believe.
Other Resources

Internet Discussion Groups
These groups allow for an interactive recovery experience and dialogues with real, live people. They offer a bit more privacy than online web-based forums.
- The Exmormon Mailing List: This list is maintained to provide a place where list members can discuss the problems and difficulties one may face by leaving the Mormon church and adjusting to a life without Mormonism. Non-sectarian.
- Ex-LDS Women Mailing List: A very active recovery-related group for former LDS women only. No men allowed. Non-sectarian.
- Mormons Have My Child: A mutual support group for non-Mormon or ex-Mormon parents whose children (of any age) are Mormon, and whose relationships with those children are suffering because of the children's Mormonism. Non-sectarian.
- Mormons In Transition: If you still maintain a belief in Jesus Christ, but you're not sure the Mormon church does, this online forum is a place to explore biblical alternatives with other former Mormons and questioning Mormons, but in a supportive atmosphere.
